Towers of Midnight **SPOILER THREAD**
« on: November 22, 2010, 12:43:28 PM »
Ok, so...there are SPOILERS ahead...tread with caution.

Ok, so...apparently Graendal killed Asmodean.  I kinda thought it the final explanation would be a little more clear cut than how it turned out.  However, it's nice to know...finally...who did it!  My question is this, RJ repeatedly said that he gave us enough clues in the previous books for us to figure this out.  But, as I'm thinking back on the other books...I just can't think of any "clue" that would've led me to think it was Graeandal.

Can anybody else think of any "clues"...???

There is a vision of Min's that I am really eager to find out about.  Not sure what book it was...but Min saw an aura around Logain that meant he was destined for immense glory.  Obviously, after reading Tower's of Midnight we find out that the Black Tower is splitting...between Logain loyalists and Taim loyalists.  So, it should be interesting to find out how bad Logain smacks down Mazrim Taim in the last book.  I envision him taking the Asha'men and leading them in some awesome display of power and strength.

I've never read the Q&A's so I didn't know that RJ said there were hints throughout the books. In one of the books, I honestly can't remember perhaps the Lord of Chaos or Crown of Swords, Graendel (if I'm not mistaken) said something like: "He may be Nae'blis today but there was always tomorrow."

She is an opportunist so it could have shown that she was eliminating threats and competitions. Aesmodean was helping Rand get stronger so Rand would have been a threat to her if he came for her. By killing Aesmodean she lowered that chance. The hint (if its right) is pretty vague and hard to link to this...
