Seems like we've all had our worries about, or actual losses of a family pet lately, so I thought I'd try and bring back some of the mood by introducing the newest addition to my house-hold.



Chip, named after the Central Michigan University Chippewas, is four months old, very shy around the other two pets, and loves to play.

Right now he's got a bit of a cold (Upper Respiratory Infection was abundant in the Humane Society I adopted from), but he's adjusting and absolutely loves playing and just cuddling up to watch a movie.

He's a bit scared of my chocolate lab right now, who whines whenever he sees him because all he wants to do is play with the new addition.

Chip was a gift for my sisters 22nd birthday, and she loves him quite a bit.

What a cutie!!

Little gray kittens make me think of the poem by Carl Sandburg:

THE fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city

and then moves on.

Chip has started really feeling better since his cold caught on, and he's now fascinated with climbing on the keyboard to get to the mouse pointer on the sceen.

hehehehe... My kitties do the same thing. If I ever want a screen shot - I don't know how to do it, but sure enough, when the cat walks across the keyboard the screen shot option comes up.
