"The Way of Kings"

Tor.com has posted the prologue and first three chapters of Brandon Sanderson's "The Way of Kings".  Still in need of some editing, but it is a very good read.  Characters that you can get invested in... interesting magic - sort of like "Mistborn".  Not elements, really, but in the *searches for the word* linear way that the character using the magic moves.  Very visual.

To see it, you'll have to join the website, but it's free so no worries there.

P.S. - For those of us (and that would be pretty much all of us) who are Wheel of Time fans, there is one name that pops up that is pretty jarring, in that he is about as opposite his namesake in WoT as he can possibly be.

This sounds promising as heck!  I liked it so far!

I have the Audiobook on order at my library...so, I'll be "listening" to it as soon as it comes in! 

I know...this is going to be torture getting into another epic...but, I'm a sucker for epics!  What can I say!

I read the preview as well, seems pretty good. I wonder where he gets the time to be writing another series from. lol

No kidding!  He must have some crazy method to keep his writing mojo stoked up for long periods of time.

There are only a few writers I know of that can crank out as many books as Sanderson does.  The others need to take lessons from him, I think.
