Argh... so much for having some nice quiet writing time. Huge storm hit yesterday with GIANT hail stones. Had to go help my brother dig channels so his house wouldn't flood and cover areas which were formerly inhabited by windows. Then I come home and the power has gone off (of course), power came back on at 2pm today and that was the point at which I realised the fridge had melted. Just finished cleaning up that mess and now there are more storms coming - the likelihood of the power staying on is very slim. :-(
