Mistborn

Well,
I wanted to wait to read Brandon Sanderson's other stuff until I was done with The Gathering Storm.  So, now that I've devoured TGS...I'm now consuming the first Mistborn book.

I didn't know what to expect...except that I knew a review that I read at one point said that the 'magic' system in the books was pretty cool.  So, now that I'm well into the first book, I have to agree with that review.  The magic system is awesome!  It's not too powerful and it's not a 'the sky is the limit' type of deal.  I like that a lot...the people that are able to tap into this magic are still very vunerable. 

Another thing that I really like about this book is that Michael Kramer is the voice actor in the audio-version.  He is the same male voice actor in the Robert Jordan books.  So, that makes his voice a very familiar friend to me! 

Overall, I'm enjoying this Mistborn book tremendously!
