The Art of Ambient: Interlude

Immersion: One, courtesy of Mr. Steve Roach.  This five-minute exerpt from his ground-breaking 2006 release by the same name is just a shade of the real thing.  The full composition is over 73-minutes long, and is my personal favorite ambient piece.  It is perfectly pitched to match the resonance of my brainwaves, and puts me into a semi-trance state just by listening to it.  It is also the ideal piece for introspection.

Enjoy, Jacy....

The voices may not be real, but they have some pretty good ideas...
