A gift from Tor.com
« on: September 04, 2009, 08:02:25 PM »
Whoa...

Has it really been June since I logged in here??  There was a time when I would have said such would be a sign of my certain demise.

Apparently not.

Anyway... long time, no see... :)

Different author, different voice.  "Different" doesn't necessarily mean "bad".  It's just different.  Though I think I will miss immersing myself in Jordan's wordcraft.  *shrugs*

I'm glad that Michael Kramer is still providing the audio talent.  That helps the continuity...
The voices may not be real, but they have some pretty good ideas...

Listened to the audioversion...nice!

I really like the way Micheal Kramer reads!  To be honest, when I first listened to him reading The Eye of the World...I wasn't too sure about him.  But, now...after twelve books...I love his voice and (to me at least) he brings life to The Wheel of Time world.

Can't wait to listen to/read the rest of the book!

Thanks for sharing Jianna!  ...and welcome back!
