Switching forums?
« on: February 20, 2009, 10:50:32 AM »
I have come to kind of hate these forums, especially the way the mods were done for it. I've set up a test forum last night with most of the posts already imported into it. What do you guys thing about making the switch?

I could have been a contender.

Any chance we could just go back to the old forum?  I think we've proved one thing since we swapped over, and that's that we really didn't need more than we had.  Just my $0.02

Can't move back to the old forums. The perl .scripting in them doesn't seem to work well with current server software and overtime it will use up the server's entire resources. I was rebooting our old server atleast once or twice a month because the server would almost be completely frozen. Even before that it is a huge resource hog. That's why I had to move off them.
