Hi Aldaer,
Very nice bio. As Rhyannon (Trelise) has stated, it will be interesting to see what you can come up with given that from the looks of your character, you are RPing an Accepted.
Should you wish to roleplay or interact with my character (Lysarra), please feel free to drop me a message in te TW OOC board and we can discuss some ideas. Also, I noticed that your character and mine are about a year apart in age (Aylinn is 34, Lysarra is 33) and would have joined around the same time (Aylinn at 17, Lysarra at 18) and both would have been Novices and Accepted together (though Lysarra has recently been raised to the Blue after 8 years as Novice and 7 as Accepted). You can read more about her character in the posts on the TW RP Board.
In turn, if you don't mind, I'd like to make mention of Aylinn in my posts (e.g perhaps in Lysarra's recollection of her time as Novice / Accepted or seeing Aylinn around the Tower on some duty or other).
Welcome to the Site.
Cheers,
Alex (Lysarra Avari)

Trelise Sedai - Thank you. I'm sorry I haven't put anything up yet. I've been a bit busy. But I'll have a post up quite soon.
Alex - Thanks. It would be great to RP with you. I'll think of something once I get a few introdutory posts up for Aylinn. Feel free to reference Aylinn in any way in your posts.
I was thinking of focusing on personal distress as opposed to the greater need in terms of character development. For example, Lysarra has already become an Aes Sedai, while Aylinn has just passed her Arches test. It's naturally disheartening and I'm thinking of ways to play on emotions like that against the greater background of the Trolloc Wars and the destruction of the known world by the Shadow. Let's see what I can do.

Anyone - Do I have to register separately to post on the RP board? It seems so. In that case, do I use the username for this site (Aldaer) or my character name (Aylinn)? I intend to introduce other characters once Aylinn is settled in, so in that case what should happen? Just clarifying.

Your character name. You can also register as many accounts as you want for your characters. That what we've always done. You can post your bio in your accounts details that way.

Ok, I'm really sorry to bother you again. I registered on the RP board, but I haven't received the activation key in my e-mail. I've checked my spam folder. The post-registration message said I had one day to activate the account and the time's almost up. I can register again, but if I don't get the activation e-mail, what should I do? Try another mail address?

Hi Todd and Rhyannon,
Just wanted to get your approval for another Character as I hope to drive my RP stories between Lysarra and Domanique Elanfyr (She had initially been an NPC when Alys was writing and I convinced her to turn Domanique into a PC - helped her write parts of her posts). Anyway, I am submitting Domanique's Stats for your approval.
Cheers,
Alex.
Domanique Elanfyr (Aes Sedai, Red)
Name:
Domanique Elanfyr (DOH-mah-neek eh-lahn-FEER)
Origin:
Jara’copan, Manetheren
One Power Rating:
11
Weapon Skill Rating:
3 (Dagger)
Affinities:
Air and Spirit.
Talents:
Elementalism, Illusion, Warding,
Appearance:
Slender and tall at 6’0”, Domanique possesses a cool beauty that is both alluring and intimidating at the same time. With an oval face, high cheek-bones and intense dark brown eyes, long, straight blonde hair completes the image of Aes Sedai aloofness. In strict accordance to Red Ajah custom, Domanique almost always dresses in shades of red with her favorite shade being crimson. While most times she dresses in simple conservative gowns of satin or silk, on formal occasions, she chooses gowns that are embellished with gold embroidery.
Tower Training:
If ever there was a model Novice or Accepted, it would be Domanique Elanfyr. Since being enrolled in the Tower Novice Book at the age of 15, she has never been called to the office of the Mistress of Novices for any breach in Tower law or custom. During the 8 years as a Novice, Domanique was often held up as an example of dutiful obedience to the diktats of the Sisterhood and upon attaining the rank of Accepted often used her authority over Novices to enforce the myriad rules and regulations that govern the lives of Tower initiates. With cool composure and dedication it was not long before she was raised to full sisterhood after 6 years as Accepted and now proudly wears the shawl of the Red Ajah.
History:
Derech Elanfyr was a man of humble origins, working his way up in the local constabulary in Jara’copan before retiring as Lord-Sheriff for the city. Renowned as a fierce enforcer of law and order, Derech shaped Jara’Copan’s constabulary force into an elite force of men and women dedicated to preserving the peace of the city and hunting down those break its laws. In recognition of his services, upon retirement from his post as Lord-Sheriff, he was raised to a Lord-Justice of the city and now presides over minor criminal cases that are brought before the local authorities. It was no surprise therefore that his only child, Domanique, grew up with a healthy –almost religious – respect for the law.
From a tender age Domanique was exposed to the workings of the law, being made to learn and memorize the laws of the land. As she grew, she gained an appreciation for the risk that men and women like her father undertook for the greater good of keeping law and order, sometimes with the sacrifice of their own lives. By the time she was 15, despite her mother’s objections and to her father’s secret delight, she had decided to follow in Derech’s footsteps and enroll with the City Constabulary. On the day she was to enroll, her father was given the duty of providing a Guard-of-Honor for a small group of Red Sisters visiting the city. As it would have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see not just one, but three Aes Sedai, Domanique chose to accompany her father. Upon hearing that the girl wanted to join the Constabulary, one of the Sisters suggested to the awe-struck Domanique that if she wanted to enroll in an organization, she should try the White Tower and offered to test the girl for the ability to channel. In short order, right before her father, she was tested and found to have the potential to learn to channel. Before the sunset that day, the Aes Sedai gained another initiate.
As a Novice, she was a model student, applying herself whole-heartedly to the task of attaining the Shawl. Why struggle to maintain law and order in one city when, as Aes Sedai, one could exert influence over nations to bring order to the lands? She also believed, like her father, that one could only lead by example and readily embraced the customs, laws and ways of the Tower quickly earning the commendations of many Sisters and the secret scorn of other jealous initiates.
As Accepted, she turned her interests towards Tower Law and very quickly gained a familiarity with it that several Gray Sisters offered to tutor her in hopes of recruiting her to their cause. Her unswerving dedication to the Tower, strict adherence and application of Tower Law, and cool determination quickly earned her a reputation amongst other initiates as being an impersonal and impartial disciplinarian.
She has recently been raised to the Shawl, choosing the Red over the Gray in the belief that they guard against the most dangerous incarnations of chaos: men who can channel. She also believes that while the Grays use the Law to bring peace to the land, such peace must be enforced. The Reds, with their frequent travels across the land in their search for male channelers would allow her to enforce law and order in the farthest reaches of the land.

Miles Khan
Age 19
Weapon Score- 4 (long knife and throwing knife)
Skills-Brawling and hunting
Coremandian
Appearance- A young man of good height and stature. Defined, but lean muscles cover his body from an active lifestyle. Taller than most men but not enough to stick out in a crowd. Mid-length brown hair falls just to his eyes and covers his ears. A prominent chin and jaw is covered in a seemingly permanent scruff. Not one known for smiling but still appearing pretty harmless to the common passerby. Brown eyes are lined with heavy slightly arched eyebrows. A scar runs a half hands length down his left forearm and his nose is just the slightest bit off from an old injury. Miles gives most the impression of a young man with wisdom beyond his years, but also of one who has been humbled recently.
History- Miles was born in his parent’s house just South of Braem. They lived an afternoon’s ride away from a small village with an inn and a few shops with apprentices running about. His father was a locksmith, as his father had been too. He was the youngest of five children. The two oldest sisters, Maral and Lieh lived in Braem, one as a seamstress and the latter as a healer. His sister Jesera who was just five years older than him taught the young children of families at the village north of them. Miles’ mother was a very strong supporter of education. Because of this he had done much reading and also played the flute for some time. Miles’ third oldest sibling Sevon had left home when Miles was a young age to learn the sword and travel the world. A letter had been received a year ago saying he was still serving in the Coremandian Guards. His brothers leaving affected him in two ways. He learned to fight and grew up fast. He envied his brother for learning the sword, but he could not leave his family. They relied on what he could hunt and needed him to get supplied and deliver finished locks. His father had a small forge which he used to make locks and Miles made the basic lock structures for his father when orders were backed up. In his spare time he bought extra metal with spare coins he scraped up and experimented with blade making.
His designs were hit and miss and most of the material was wasted over the years, but he kept two of the weapons. One was his long hunting knife; later in life his friends would joke it was closer to a short sword, just over a foot and a hand it felt perfect in his hand and had a long sleek blade ending in a lethal point. The other was a lucky short skinny blade that he often threw at trees and other objects when bored. He wasn’t the greatest shot but he had some lucky shots in his day. When he was young teen he had to resort to throwing the knife at a wolf. He had killed a deer that the wolf had been tracking and while he was preparing to carry it home a wolf pounced on him and tore his left arm open with its claws. He hadn’t made his long knife yet and the luckiest throw of his life saved his life.
He spent most his early teens hunting in the woods, pretending to be fighting alongside his brother in fantasy wars he created. His time spent in the woods left him with a peculiar knack of sneaking up on people even when not attempting to. When he turned fifteen his father started sending him to Braem alone to deliver finished products. This is where he met his first good friend. There were plenty of young men a little older than him who hung around the shop he delivered too. When Miles started coming alone they began acknowledging him with a friendly nod. His third trip alone he had just finished delivering the products when a few older boys came out and started roughing him around and making fun of him. Miles had knocked the ring leader flat on his back with a hook and soon after found himself also on the ground with the biggest thug slamming large fists on his face. His nose was broken and his eyes bruised but the fight was broken up by one of the older boys Miles had nodded to. The young man was named Bavaron. He and his two friends Pob and Elaid took Miles to Bavaron’s father’s house. Here he met Cay, Bavaron’s sister. She patched up his face and Bavaron reset his nose as best he could. This began Mile’s friendship with Bavaron. They young men took Miles to a local inn that they often drank wine and mead at, the Oak and Cedar. Miles found himself at home in the place. Over the next few years he would stop by and visit Bavaron for a few weeks every trip he made. He became a local hero at the inn with the regulars. Bavaron and he served as the unpaid bouncers for occasional free meal and pint. Miles also played his flute often for the residents of the inn for spare coins and drinks. Cay would often play the harp along with him and Pob would sing while Elaid banged on the nearest noise maker.
Bavaron had taught Miles much of fighting over the years. No young man their age would dare fight the two of them hand to hand and the peace was always kept at the Oak and Cedar, with a few exceptions from older drunks that often underestimated the “two young fools.” Bavaron even taught Miles some tricks with his lucky knife and long knife that he picked up from his father who had been in the Coremandian Guard. He got so proud of his brawling that one day him and Bavaron went too far. Two haggard men had been drinking and being rowdy. The boys told them to keep it quiet and stop disturbing everyone as they normally would. The men hadn’t really overstepped any rules yet but they had made a smart remark to Miles which he didn’t appreciate. He said a rude remark back to the man and before Miles knew what was happening a fight broke out. Miles had tripped the one man to the ground and was kicking him to keep the larger man down when he heard a cry from Bavaron. Miles saw blood running down his shirt. Bavaron gasped and the life left his eyes, he hit the floor in slow motion. Before Miles knew what he was doing he had his knife out. The man he faced knew his way around a blade but he didn’t have the speed that Bavaron and Miles had worked so hard to achieve. They charged each other; Miles ducked and swiped his knife out. He connected but just enough to leave a long gash. Several more cuts and he tackled the wounded man, enraged and out of control. His knife pinned the other man’s knife hand to the table. His throwing knife had found its way into the neck of the bigger at some point that Miles almost didn’t even remember. He looked at Bavaron one more time before he brutally smashed a chair over the pinned man’s head. He withdrew his knife and with a roar finished the kill.
For what seemed hours he sat in silence on the floor with his head in his hands. He sensed the innkeeper Erina behind him. “I will say nothing Miles, you have been too good to us all, but you must go, and you cannot return. People saw this, Miles, and they know your name.” Several travelers and non-regulars had left the tavern screaming. And so he ran.

Player: Moseley
Age: 18
Nationality: Coremandan
Faction: The White Tower
Rank: Novice
Farae Irandraen is a Coremandan Novice of the White Tower. History and politics have always sparked her interest, but she's afraid of a lifelong commitment to the Tower. She volunteers at the Tower Library, and enjoys reading.
Appearance
Hair: Mousy brown
Eyes: Blue
Skin: Pale with a few freckles
Height: 5'6
Physical Description: With thin lips and deeper set eyes she seems pretty, but she's never been called beautiful. Her hair is usually kept in up in a bun or a tight braid, out of her face. She is slender which makes her look taller than she actually is.
Typical Clothing: Farae prefers plain woolen or occasionally silk with a simple cut. She would much rather splurge on a rare book or artifact.
Other Information
Special Skills: Farae rocks at organization and alphabetizing.
Knowledge Weakness: Since she spends so much time reading about humans, she has few chances to interact with them.
Physical Weakness: Her hours in the Library have left her with relative strength and stamina but little flexibility.
Personality Weakness: Farae is prone to fits of self-pity and self-doubt.
Personality: Farae is the quintessential introvert: passive, quiet and a librarian. She has little self-confidence and is prone to bouts of self-pity which leads to self-doubt. This then leads to her self-imposed quarantine, where she goes into her room and stays there for days at a time, until another librarian realizes she has not turned up for duty. She is coerced back to the Library, where she looses herself in study.
History
Farae Irandraen grew up as the daughter of minor Nobles outside of Braem with two younger sisters. She was smart and protective of her younger sisters, and together the five of them lived a good life, if simple. The other Noble's often scoffed at the relative poverty of the Irandraen House, and Farae had few noble-born friends. Lord Irandraen thought that a good education was more important than fine clothes or beautiful carriages, and spent his money on a tutor for his three daughters. The tutor was an kind older man who immediately befriended Farae. They talked for hours on end about history, politics and cultures. He realized Farae's intellectual potential and talked with her father about studying in Al'cair'rahienallen, or perhaps even Tar Valon. But before she could leave to study at one of the great libraries of the world, her father died from a hunting accident.
The family's meager income was quickly reduced after a slimy banker managed to funnel a decent portion into his own account. He had been planning for years and finally got the chance when Lord Irandraen died. So House Irandraen was forced to relocate to a small apartment in Jehanna, with Lady Irandraen's kind sister. The new adjusted income did not allow for a tutor, and so Farae bid him a long and sad farewell, knowing it would likely be the last time they would see each other.
Farea had a difficult time adjusting to life in Jehanna. She was forced to find work as a bookkeeper, and her youngest sister, Moriana, became a seamstress. The middle daughter, Baromei, fell in love with a merchant's son. Lady Irandraen was forced to marry her off because it was too great a strain on the family. Farae was heartbroken and spent many days silent and withdrawn.
Then one day while bookkeeping at a bank, an Aes Sedai and her Warders came in. Farae learned she could channel. Lady Irandraen recognized the opportunity to let her daughter do something in the world, thought it would mean she would almost certainly never see Farae again. And so after tears and more heartbreak than a person should go through, Farae left Jehanna for Tar Valon.
