I didn't know Jet or Wolfmother were australian, I though Jet was British and Wolfmother was American, go figure. I like both bands though. :P

Hehehe... Jet is from my home town - Wolfmother is from Sydney which immediately makes them evil, but they split up so it doesn't really matter. ;-)

hmm.....no particular order

Our Lady Peace - Naveed
U2 - Sweetest Thing
Howie Day - Sorry
Eric Clapton - Old Love
Stevie ray Vaughan's cover of Little Wing
John Mayer-Covered in Rain
Tea Party - Heaven's Coming Down
City And Colour - Hello I'm in Deleware
GooGooDolls - Black Balloon
Live - Dolphins Cry

Also, I've just recently gotten into Our Lady Peace, my buddy is a big fan and hooked me. I can't turn off songs like 'Somewhere Out There' and 'Superman's Dead'
I believe the world is burning to the ground.

Si vis pacem, para bellum.

If you would have peace, prepare for war.

I should have qualified that as *old* our lady peace. I can't really stand much of their two newest albums, their sound has changed too much from their earlier stuff. Superman is dead (and the whole Clumsy album) is definitely good though.

Hehehe... the rivalry is alive and kicking. Why the relocation to QLD?

daddy is an engineer. so i got to move around a lot when i was younger before he finally decided we should settle down in brissie.

Sydney is where it all started though. i have a lot of fond memories of that place.

i haven't actually been to melbourne but my cousin Natalie is still braving the superior culture of melbourne (so i can't really hate on you melbourners that much, not when one of my relatives defected :P)

by the way... hows the weather....

:P

The weather has been lovely lately. Cool in the morning, warm and sunny in the arvo - just the way I like it. :-)

Oh. i thought the weather would be a bit more... temperamental.
Speaking of the weather, i heard that Brisbane had some nasty storms leaving a trail of destruction on the northside, meanwhile i am sitting up here in sunny tropical north Queensland.

There is not a hint up here of anything destructive, it is all very serene.

Sometimes the weather is interesting... but it has been nice for the most part. That said, I never go anywhere without an umbrella. :-)

Yeah, Brissy is a bit of a mess at the moment... apparently there are more storms to come as well.

yeah i heard. But as long as my family and friends there are safe, i don't give a damn how bad the weather is down there.
