Yeah, I did the movie one, why not lead to the next thing? I guess we had one like this, but that was more a mixture of Geoff recommendations and random songs.

Try to limit it between 5-10 I suppose?

That really depends on the mood I'm in.

Right now, I'm feeling lazy and relaxed.  It's raining outside, and it's cool.  And my favorite songs are (in no particular order):

1. She Talks to Angels - Black Crowes
2. Walking in Memphis - Marc Cohn
3. Heart of the Matter - Don Henley
4. More Than a Feeling - Boston
5. Drift Away - Dobie Gray
6. Bolero - Ravel
7. Whipping Post - Allman Brothers
8. We Can Work It Out - Beatles
9. God Bless the Child - Blood Sweat & Tears
10. The Dance - Garth Brooks

Ask me again - say, Thursday? - and the list will a bit more frantic, I imagine... :)
The voices may not be real, but they have some pretty good ideas...

Now this is very challenging....like Jacy it really depends on the day thanks to my extremely varied taste in music.  For today, here's a solid list.

Higher Love - Depeche Mode
Echo - Vertical Horizon
Ain't No Sunshine - Bill Withers
It Keeps You Running - Doobies
This Day Forward - David Helpling and Jon Jenkins
Love on a Real Train - Tangerine Dream
Palomino - Duran Duran
Illicit Dreams - Noise Unit
Brace Yourself - Howie Day
There, There - Radiohead
No Promises - Icehouse
Glass Palace - Jens Gad
If I Had a Boat - Lyle Lovett
No Leaf Clover - Metallica
Savin' Me - Nickelback
Until the End of the World - Pat Metheny Group
Nobody's Hero - Rush
Aberration of Light - Vir Unis

Whoops...that's a few more than 10, isn't it?  Shame, because it's grossly imcomplete.
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade...
then go find someone who's life has given them vodka.

There is nothing to get, really. It's a kind of bait and switch. I could say something like "Video of Martina eating apple pie in Paris." and instead of linking to what I said I was I link to Rick Astley singing Never Gonna Give You Up.
I could have been a contender.

Rick Astley - the Clay Aiken of the 1990's.

By the way, I swear that's Obama playing the bartender in that video.  He can shake his ass!

I do have to ask Dana, do you like the Ataris version of Boys of Summer better than Don Henleys?

I think it's hard to compare considering they're basically two different versions, I really like them both.

The Ataris version is my favorite. Not much of a solo Henley fan.

I didn't know Jet or Wolfmother were australian, I though Jet was British and Wolfmother was American, go figure. I like both bands though. :P
