From what I remember of the last few books, she's been pretty annoying to me personally.

My guess would be yes, but I doubt it will be in the way that anybody hopes. Gaidal Cain will be awfully young.

She's having to put up with Elayne, and a pregnant Elayne at that.  I think that entitles her to being a bit annoying... *g*

As for Gaidal Cain... I think we all have a pretty good idea of who he is in this turn of the Wheel.  But, in case there is someone who doesn't, I won't spoil it.

I'm re-reading the series, about done with EotW.

I'm hoping to come around to her, I liked her a lot through LoC, but I've always been drawn to Min and Aviendha more so than her.

Yes, he was.  'Twas me talking about Elayne.  Who really annoys me sometimes.  Yes, she is supposed to be courageous and queenly and all that.  A lot of the time she is.  But she can also carry it to extremes and be foolhardy and arrogant.

Eh... another mark of Jordan's skill at creating a character.  We are debating the character's "character flaws" rather than the flaws of the character itself.  Not that I'm saying that there are any... *g*

It's probably Olver. She likes ugly men, felt fond of the boy and he is very good at riding horses.
